Back in 2022, I created the $10 Meals Facebook Communities, sharing budget recipes and the $10 meal plans I’d compiled for my own family (best thing I’ve ever done!)

As a single mum of 3 on a low income, the cost of living crisis hit us hard but I soon figured out that with careful planning and budgeting, we could still enjoy a wide variety of flavoursome, nutritious meals each week.

I now spend most of my time in the kitchen (my dream!), creating new recipes and meal plans to help Aussie families keep their grocery bills low and their bellies full with simple but delicious food!

And I’ve just written a cookbook!

I grew up in sunny Brisbane and still call it home with my 3 teenagers: Gabriel, Seth & Evie and our 2 very naughty boston terriers (Quincy & Maya).

In our home, memories are created around the table and I value the opportunity to be able to cook for my family and friends.

I was a very late bloomer, only learning to cook in my 30’s so I’m always reminding others that it’s ‘never too late!’
